今週は、フォニックスで短い「A」の音、そしてクリスマスの単語を教えています。子どもたちはこのインタラクティブな（対話型の）レッスン形式が大好きで、とても夢中になって取り組んでいます。
私たちは、毎週フォニックスや語彙を教えるだけでなく、毎週テーマを決めて授業を行っています。先週は「感謝祭（Thanksgiving）」、今週は「交通手段（Transportation）やインフラ」について学び、来週は「クリスマス」を取り上げる予定です。
生徒たちはこうしたテーマが大好きで、積極的に質問をしてくれます。
前にもお話ししましたが、彼らは日本語で知っていることについて、英語で尋ねたい時に「キャメロン、〜〜（日本語の単語）は英語でなんて言うの？」と聞いてきます。こうした自信と批判的な思考力（クリティカルシンキング）が見られるのは、本当に素晴らしいことです。
We also as well as teach the weekly phonetics and vocabulary, teach weekly subjects such as Thanksgiving last week, this week about transportation, infrastructure etc and next week we will cover Christmas.
The students really love it and ask questions.
As said if they know something in Japanese and want to know about it on English they will say "Cameron how do you say ....... Japanese word..... In English". It's really great to see that sort of confidence and critical thinking skills.
